Evaluation Info
All Star season is significantly different from fall season and it is important that both prospective players and parents/guardians clearly understand the commitments, guidelines, and expectations involved with the Atascadero Soccer All-Star Program.

Player Evaluation / Tryout Days: 
- When: Sunday, October 29th and Sunday, November 5th 
- Location:  Paloma Creek Park
- Times are specific to age divisions

• October 29th
  • U10: 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
  • U12 & U14: 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm
• November 5th
  • U12 & U14: 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
  • U10: 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Tryouts ensures that coaches know who's interested and can continue to evaluate them throughout the rest of the season.  Interested and eligible players are invited to come out and demonstrate their attitude, sportsmanship, skills and coach-ability. 

There will be an information session for the parents/guardians during the evaluations, so please plan to stay for at least the first 30 minutes of Tryouts.

To help the day of tryouts run as smoothly as possible, please do the following:

• Completed online Player Application (will be available until Oct. 28th at 5pm)
• Arrive 30 minutes early for player check-in and complete any necessary paperwork
• Have Players wear their Fall season Atascadero Soccer uniform, and appropriate soccer gear (shin guards/cleats etc)
• Bring plenty of water
• Players may bring a ball if it is the correct size - make sure their name is on it, because there will be a lot of balls!! Size 4 for U10 & U12 and Size 5 for U14

Do I need to attend both evaluation days?
Players need to attend AT LEAST one evaluation day in order to be eligible for All Star selection (reserve players included), however it is recommended that they attend both. It gives your player more time on the ball and also provides All-Star coaches more time to see your player in action.
