Registration Info

Online registration is now CLOSED.  

To ensure your child has a spot, please be sure to complete registration early. A complete registration includes finishing the online registration process, providing full payment (including approved scholarship forms where applicable), and verification of child(ren)'s age. If your child is new to Atascadero Soccer this year, please be prepared to provide a copy of your child(ren)'s birth certificate.

*Early Bird discount is available for Core Divisions! Complete your registration by May 31, 2019 to receive a $25 discount.

Program Info

Core:
6U Co-ed - $130 per player - ($105 if completed by 5/31/19)
8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U-18U - $155 per player - ($130 if completed by 5/31/19)

We are pleased to be able to offer a $10 sibling discount for multiple Core program player registrations!

*Please be aware that these divisions fill to capacity; registrations received after a division is full will be placed on a wait list and placed on a team if space becomes available. 

Players are placed automatically in the correct division based on their birth year. Below is the list of birth years playing in each division this coming season:

6U2014 & 2015
8U2012 & 2013
10U2010 & 2011
12U2008 & 2009
14U2006 & 2007
16U2004 & 2005
18U2002 & 2003

 


Playground Program (3,4):

Playground is a unique program designed to develop children by focusing on improving a child’s Fundamental Motor Skills (FMS) in a fun, parent participatory atmosphere utilizing age appropriate activities. This is a 6 week program and requires a parent to participate along side the child.
($80 per player, no sibling or early bird discounts available)

VIP Division:
Our VIP (Very Important Player) program provides a safe, fun environment for children and adults with physical or mental disabilities. Trained coaches and volunteers will facilitate an enriching experience that the players and their families will cherish forever.

The fall season runs from the end of August 2019 through November 2019.

Online Registration


Families with returning players from last year should log in to their existing account to submit their registration and payment for the fall 2019 program. If you are unsure of your username, please email [email protected] for help rather than creating a new account.

Steps to begin registration for a new family:

  1. Click on the REGISTER NOW  button in the top right corner to create your FAMILY account (using the parent/guardian information to start).
    1. If you already 
      have a Blue Sombrero ID from another Youth League, you can use that login.
  2.  Fill out the Create a New Account form with your parent/guardian information. (Shown to the right)
  3. Click the green Create Account button on the bottom of the form.
  4. Once your account has been created you will be able to register your player(s) by clicking the grey Register Now button at the top right of the screen. 
  5. A window will pop up and select - I am a parent or guardian registering a participant.
  6. Fill out the forms to submit your registration application. If you need help click here.
  7. A credit card payment is required to complete the online registration process. If you are unable to use a credit card please attend one of our live events. 
  8. ALL NEW PLAYERS must have a LEGAL copy of their birth certificate in order to be registered.

Walk-Up Registration Info

We have some walk up registration events for those that needed help with the online process or need to pay with cash.  All of these events will be held at the Colony Park Community Center. 

  • Saturday, 5/18, 9:00 - 11:00 AM
  • Monday, 5/20, 5:30 - 7 pm 
  • Saturday, 6/1, 9:00 - 11:00 AM (This is after the Early Bird discount ends)

Volunteers

(VOLUNTEERS CAN REGISTER ONLINE TOO!)

  • Volunteer application are needed every year for Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Referees.
  • Once logged into your account, Click on the volunteer tab on the left to fill out a volunteer form. 
  • AYSO is a 100% volunteer-run organization. Coaches, referees, field maintenance, and Board Members are all volunteers. Our community needs your help provide a fun, safe, and successful soccer program for our children. If you want to volunteer in a role other than coach or referee, please email [email protected] with your interest!

Scholarship Info

Scholarships are available through the City of Atascadero. Completed forms must be turned in to the Colony Park Community Center for approval (you can find the forms to the right).

Scholarship families paying by Credit Card will need to select the scholarship payment plan during the registration process. Please turn your application into the City ASAP.  Prior to July 1st, we will post your approved scholarship amount to the remaining balance on your account. If we have not received your approved scholarship by July 1st, your credit card will be charged for the outstanding balance.  Once we receive your scholarship from the City we will issue a refund. 

Scholarship families paying by cash or check should complete your registration at a live registration event and present an approved copy of your scholarship form. You will be charged the full registration price and we will issue you a refund once we receive your scholarship amount from the City. 

Registrations with a 100% scholarship should consider attending a live registration event.

To receive the Early Bird Discount, we will need to receive an approved copy of your scholarship form by 5/31.

Refunds

  • Anytime before July 15th that a player chooses to drop will receive a refund of their registration fee minus the mandatory $25 AYSO processing fee. 
  • After July 15th and before August 15th, half the registration amount will be refunded.
  • After August 15th, refunds will ONLY be issued at this point by permission of Regional Commissioner and Board approval for special circumstances (moving, injury, etc.)
  • Important Dates

    • August 24 - Mandatory Coaches Meeting
    • August 26 - Practices will begin
    • September 7 - first games
    • September TBD - Picture Day 
    • November TBD - End of Season Tournament for 10U and 12U Teams
